Daniel W. Boston is Associate Dean for Comprehensive Clinical Care, Associate Professor of Restorative Dentistry, and the Laura Carnell Professor of Restorative Dentistry at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. Dan is a Consultant and past review Committee Member for the Commission on Dental Accreditation, former dental anatomy test constructor for the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations, and consultant examiner for the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners. In the American Dental Education Association, he has served as Chair of the Section on Comprehensive Care and General Dentistry, and as Temple University’s Faculty Representative to the Council of Faculties. Dan is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. He holds several patents developed at Temple University and has research and publication activity in the areas of comprehensive care, advanced general dentistry, restorative dentistry and instrumentation, new diagnostic modalities, dental materials, and clinical trials. Dan earned his B.A. degree in biology from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA, USA, and his D.M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
