Alfalou Ayman

Alfalou Ayman obtained the Ph.D. degree in telecommunications and signal processing from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télecommunications de Bretagne (ENSTB), Brest, France, and from the University of Rennes 1, Rennes, France, in 1999. He held a postdoc position for one year at ENSTB, focusing on designing and realizing an optical compact and high rate correlator (French Army). He became an Associate Professor and Professor, and he created the Optical Signal and Image Processing Laboratory (Vision Lab) at ISEN-Brest (Institut Supérieur de l'Electronique et du Numérique, France). His research interests are optical engineering, optical information processing (correlation, compression, encryption, 3D, etc.), signal and image processing, and ICA. He has some Ph.D., M.S., and engineering students. He has published over 110 refereed journal articles or conferences on a wide variety of theoretical and experimental topics. He has organized or coorganized many conferences and special sessions; he is a Senior Member of OSA, Senior Member of IEEE, Senior Member of SPIE, and Elected Member of the Institute of Physics.
