Vassilis Kouloulias

Vassilios Kouloulias acts as an Assistant Professor of radiation oncology and the Head of Radiotherapy Unit of the Second Department of Radiology, Medical School, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece. He was born in Athens in 1964. He obtained a degree in physics from the University of Athens, Greece, Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, and another Ph.D. degree in clinical oncology, Medical School, University of Athens, Greece. He served as a Reviewer for several peer-reviewed Journals and Member of ESTRO (European Society of Therapeutic radiology and Oncology), ESHO (European Society of Hyperthermic Oncology), and GRTS (Greek Radiotherapeutic Society). His research and clinical interests include oncology, clinical trials, radiation oncology, hyperthermia, biomedical engineering, and quality assurance in radiotherapy. He is the author or coauthor of 118 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals.
