Massimiliano Lanzafame was born on 02/14/1969 in Zevio (Verona). Lanzafame obtained a Specialist Diploma in infectious diseases (1998, University of Verona) and a Certificate in “Sexually transmitted diseases,” 2002, the Division of Gynecology and Obstetricy, “Burlo Garofalo,” Trieste, Italy. Lanzafame was a Consultant of the Montorio’s prison in Verona since 2004, a Chief of outpatient HIV-clinic of the Division of Infectious Diseases, “G.B.Rossi” Hospital, Verona (Italy), and a Chief of the Simple Unit of “Diagnosis and Therapy of HIV infection” from March 2008. Lanzafame is an author and coauthor of 58 international scientific publications and 45 national scientific publications. Lanzafame's areas of expertise are prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of HIV infection.
