Adrian-Viorel Diaconu

Adrian-Viorel Diaconu serves as an Assistant Professor at Lumina, the University of South-East Europe, Bucharest, Romania. He received his Ph.D. degree at University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania. His research interests are focused on electronics and telecommunication systems, primarily on designing of embedded systems or applications (e.g., communication protocols, security applications, signal processing, etc.) for WMSNs, robotics, and autonomous systems. Diaconu has worked with UESEL since February 2010. His key responsibilities include being InfoMatrix's National Selections Coordinator, being Jury Member of several national and international contests (e.g., firSTep and InfoMatrix), and establishing and maintaining various partnerships with other institutions of higher education (e.g., HIT - Netherlands) and local economic, industrial, and social players (e.g., ANOSR, HP, and FESTO).
