Xiangyu Meng

Xiangyu Meng received his B.S. degree in information and computational science from the Harbin Engineering University, Harbin, China, in 2006, his M.S. degree in control science and engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2008, and his Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, in 2014. He was a Research Associate at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, between June 2007 and July 2007 and between November 2007 and January 2008. He was a Research Award Recipient at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta between February 2009 and August 2010. His research interests include event triggered control, estimation, and optimization.
