James Archibald

James Archibald received a B.S. degree in mathematics from Brigham Young University in 1981, graduating summa cum laude. In 1983 and 1987, respectively, he received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Washington. Currently, he is a Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Brigham Young University, Provo, UT, where he has been a Faculty Member since 1987. His current research interests are in the area of intelligent real-time systems, ranging from autonomous vehicles and onboard vision processing to cooperative algorithms and multiagent coordination.
