Bryan Crawford

Bryan Crawford completed his Ph.D. degree in the field of developmental biology at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, Canada, and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA, and the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, before accepting a faculty position at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, NB, Canada. His research is broadly focused on the topic of embryonic morphogenesis and tissue architecture, with particular emphasis on cell-extracellular matrix interactions. He has worked extensively with invertebrate (insect, nematode, sea urchin, and tunicate) and vertebrate (zebrafish) model systems and employs a wide variety of molecular, cell biological, and imaging-based techniques.
