Badr Eldin Mostafa

Badr Eldin Mostafa has held the position of a Professor at the Department Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, since 1999. In addition, he is a Member of the Egyptian Society of Otolaryngology, The Egyptian Skull Base Society, the CORLAS, the French Society of ORL-HNS, and the European Laryngological Society. He is qualified with an M.S. degree in 1985 and an M.D. degree in 1989 from Ain Shams University and a D.U. degree from the University of Bordeaux, Talence, France, in 2009. Badr Eldin Mostafa has been a member of the review panel for numerous publications in the field of medical sciences, otorhinolaryngology, and epidemiology. He is the Head of the National Health Authority Committee for Cochlear Implants. He is the author of a book on tracheal stenosis, coauthor of the book Essentials in Head and Neck Cancer, and coauthor of the yet to be published Springer's Encyclopaedia of Otorhinolaryngology. In recognition for his work, Badr Eldin Mostafa has received the Egyptian Medical Syndicate Award for Distinguished Achievement in March 1983 and the Ain Shams University Award for Distinguished Research in March 2008.
