Dr Olivier Balédent, PhD in the area of biophysics & radiology is currently assistant professor in University of Picardie Jules Verne. He's also the head of the medical image processing department in the hospital and director of BioFlowImage research Group (www.tidam.fr). After a Master’s degree in Informatics (1995, University of Picardy Jules Verne, Amiens, France), he passed a postgraduate diploma in the field of image processing. Then he started to apply his knowledge in the field of medical MR imaging inside the hospital sharing every day his “CSF and Blood flow” view with the clinicians. He passed his Phd in 2001 at Jules Verne University. The thesis subject was already about CSF flow imaging using MRI technique. Now, fifteen years after his first step in the hospital he always continues to develop CSF research and applies his non invasive hydrodynamic approach in clinical practice. He is also Biophysics' teacher at the medical school of his University.
