Ching-Yuan Chang

Ching Yuan Chang received the B.S. degree in chemical engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan and the Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from Auburn University, Auburn, Ala, USA. He is currently a Distinguished Professor with the Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering, National Taiwan University. His research interests include gas-liquid reactions, clean production technologies, pyrolysis, incineration, and resource recovery and utilization of solid wastes, air pollution control, application of ozonation and advanced oxidation processes, material flow analysis and industrial ecology, environmental nanotechnology, green house gases and bioenergy, mechanical heat treatment of municipal solids wastes, biodiesel and utilization of biomass. He has served in the Sustainable Environment Research as the Editor-in-Chief in the period from 2001 to 2010 and an Editor since 2011 to present. Recently, he has joined the editorial board of Environmental Science. He has published 192 journal papers, 153 conference papers and two book chapters and owned four patents.
