Born in Bologna (Italy)in 1954. Medical Degree in 1979 (Bologna University) Postgraduate Certificates in Law Medicine and in Anatomic Pathology (Bologna Schools). Assistant in Pathology Institute of S.Orsola University Hospital of Bologna and, since 1990, Consultant in University Hospital of Udine. Fields of interest: liver pathology, neoplastic and inflammatory GI tract Pathology, liver, kidney and bone marrow transplant pathology, pancreas pathology. Teaching activityin above mentioned fields in Medical Faculty and Postgraduate Schools (University of Udine). Teaching activity in Master Courses about anorectal pathology, bone marrow transplant pathology (Univ.Udine) and liver transplant pathology (Univ.Padua). Coordinator of transplant pathology diagnostic activity since 2002 in the Institute of Pathology, University Hospital of Udine.
