Franco Fagnola, full professor of Probability and Mathematical Statistics at Politecnico di Milano since 2004, is working on classical and quantum Markov processes, Markov semigroups and stochastic calculus. He wrote approximately 70 papers on these topics since 1985. Areas of expertise include: quantum probability, stochastic processes, quantum Markov semigroups and stochastic differential equations driven by fundamental quantum noises in Fock space. He is a member of editorial boards of international journals and a member of the scientific and organizing committee of the several international meetings. He is serving as peer reviewer for national and international research agencies.
