Connie M. Remsberg received her B.S. degree in biology from University of Idaho in Moscow, Moscow, Idaho, USA, in 2006. She went on to complete a combined Pharm.D./Ph.D. program at Washington State University in Pullman, Wash, USA. She received her Pharm.D. degree in 2010 and her Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical sciences under the supervision of Dr. Neal Davies in 2011. Remsberg completed her thesis work on the “Pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and formulation development of hydrophobic xenobiotics.” Following her Ph.D. studies, Remsberg completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Clinical Pharmacology Training Program at University of California, San Francisco, Calif, USA, where she worked with Dr. Les Benet investigating clinical drug-drug interactions that may occur through inhibition of drug transporters. She is now a Clinical Assistant Professor at Washington State University in Spokane, Wash, USA. A large focus of Remsberg’s research has been on polyphenols and other naturally derived compounds including developing and validating methods of analysis utilizing HPLC and LC/MS assays.
