Heung Fai, Paul LAM is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, the City University of Hong Kong (CityU), Kowloon, Hong Kong. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Kowloon, Hong Kong. His research interests are in the areas of structural dynamics, vibration measurement, modal identification, structural model updating and damage detection, and structural health monitoring. LAM is the Associate Editor of the International Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (IJAMM), an International Steering Committee Member of the East Asia-Pacific Conference on Structural Engineering and Construction (EASEC), an Executive Committee Member of the Hong Kong Constructional Metal Structures Association (HKCMSA), and the Secretary of the Hong Kong Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (HKSTAM).
