Shuang-Qing Zhang obtained his Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutics from Peking University in 2005, and worked in the area of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics as a research fellow in the University of Mississippi and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center during 2005-2008. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics, National Institutes for Food and Drug Control. His research interests include (1) pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and metabolism; (2) drug delivery systems to control drug release in specific sites; (3) bioanalysis of small molecule in plasma, various tissues, and cells using LC-MS/MS, HPLC, GC, etc.. He has authored 36 peer-reviewed publications and two book chapters, and he serves as a reviewer for 12 international journals.
