David C. Simcock

David C. Simcock serves as a Senior lecturer in physiology within the Institute of Food, Nutrition and Human Health at Massey University in New Zealand. He achieved his Ph.D. degree in physiology in 2001 and has since specialised in researching bioenergetics in nematode parasites, in particular the alterations in carbohydrate, lipid and nitrogen metabolism in parasites developing in their host. His other research interests include the invitro culture of nematode parasites, host-parasite interactions, along with the diagnosis and management of nematode parasite infections in both livestock and humans.
