Long Cheng

Long Cheng received his B.S. degree in automatic control from Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Qingdao, China, in 2008. He received his M.S. (2010) and Ph.D. (2013) degrees in pattern recognition and intelligent system from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, where he currently works as Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering. His research interests include localization and deployment in wireless sensor networks and distributed system, parallel processing, internet of things, and computing. Cheng is a Student Member of the IEICE and IEEE. He was awarded the 2011 Scholarship Award for Excellent Doctoral Student granted by Ministry of Education of China. He serves as a Lead Guest Editor of the International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, special issue on Localization in Wireless Sensor Network, 2012, and special issue on Deployment and Tracking in Distributed Sensor Networks, 2013. He is the Editor in The Scientific World Journal (Computer Science).
