YuanChang Zhong received his B.S. degree in optoelectronic engineering from Changchun University of Science and Technology, Changchun, China, in 1988, his M.S. degree in circuits and systems from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, in 2004, and his Ph.D. degree in mechanical and electronic engineering from the same university in 2011. Zhong is a Professor of electronic circuit science and engineering at Chongqing University, where he leads the Networks and Mobile Systems Group at CTTC. His research focuses on communication and tracking telemetering and command, circuits and systems, and wireless sensor networks. In addition to many widely cited papers, several systems developed as part of his research are available in the public domain. Some are in production or commercial use. His honors include 3 prizes of Chongqing City (2004, 2008, and 2010) and 3 prizes of Chongqing University (2005, 2006, and 2008). His main patents are 6; he published 2 monographs and edited 3 textbooks, and his main papers are more than 80.
