Nazamid Saari

Nazamid Saari is a full professor and the Dean of the faculty of food science and technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Selangor, Malaysia, as well as the leader of Food biotechnology research group of faculty of food science and technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia. He has authored over 140 papers in peer-reviewed journals and is a recipient of the FRGS grant and grant from the Malaysian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. He holds Ph.D. from Kagoshima University, Kagoshima, Japan, and his main research interests are in the field of functional foods, food biotechnology, and bioprocessing.
