Hong You

Hong You was born in Shanghai, China, 1948. In 1981, he received his M.S. degree from Northeast Normal University, China and worked at the same University. In 1990, he got Full Professor position. From 1987 to 1989, he served as a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Mathematics, Cornell University, and from 1992 to 1993 a Visiting Fellow at the Pennsylvania State University. He received his Ph.D. degree from Jilin University of China in 1995. He moved to Harbin Institute of Technology in 1995 as a Full Professor and Chairman of mathematical Department. From 1999 to 2005, he served as the Dean of Science Faculty in Harbin Institute of Technology. Recently, he serves as a Full Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Soochow University. He is mainly interested in classical groups, algebraic K-theory, combinatorial mathematics. He Published more than 110 papers. Main publications in the recent years: 1.
