Dongqing Li

Dongqing Li serves as professor and doctoral supervisor. Li holds a Ph.D. degree in frozen soil engineering and physics on natural geography. Li currently works as a Professor in the State Key Lab of Frozen Soil Engineering, Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute (CAREERI), Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lanzhou, China, since 1999. Li has served as a part-time Professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China; Member of the Institute of Gansu Province; and Member of Unsaturated Soils and Special Soil Professional Committee of the China Civil Engineering Society. Recently, Li is mainly engaged in, as a Professor at CAREERI, the research projects of permafrost and cold regions road engineering, especially in the researches on permafrost degradation, the permafrost engineering model test, numerical simulation of soil freezing and thawing process, and permafrost roadbed stability and application technology, making innovative achievements.
