Haizheng Zhong

Haizheng Zhong recieved his B.S. degree from Jilin University, Jilian, China, in 2003, then he undertook his Ph.D. degree studies at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with Professor Yongfang Li from 2003 to 2008. During his Ph.D. degree period he spent time at the University of California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, as a visiting student with Professor Qibing Pei then pursued his postdoctoral work at the University of Toronto with Professor Gregory Scholes from 2008 to 2010. Zhong serves as a Professor of materials chemistry in the School of Material Science and Engineering at the Beijing Institute of Technology since August 2010. Zhong’s research interests are in the area of semiconductor nanocrystals and hybrid polymer and nanocrystals materials for light‐based technology. He has authored and coauthored 40 papers in peer‐reviewed journals such as Journal of American Chemistry Society, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, and Optics Express.
