Abdolhossein Dalimi

Tarbiat Modares University, Iran

Abdolhossein Dalimi received a D.V.M. degree from Shiraz University (Iran, 1975–1984) and a Ph.D. degree in medical parasitology from Tehran Medical Sciences University (1986–1989). His has been serving as a Professor in Medical Sciences Faculty, Tarbiat Modarres University, since 2002, and as the Head of Parasitology Department at the same university since 1991. He also served as the Vice Dean for Research and Education (Medical Faculty of TMU, 1990–1993) and as a Chief Deputy for Research and Education at Razi Vaccine Research Institute from 1993 to 1998. He also served as the President of Razi Vaccine Research Institute from 2005 to 2011. He serves as a Member of Board of Trustees of Agricultural Research, Education, and Extension Organization (AREEO), as a Member of Board of Trustees of National Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (NIGEB), as a Member of Board of Iranian Parasitology Society, as a Member of Council of Iranian Veterinary Society, and as a Member of Editorial Board of Iranian Journal of Parasitology, Archive of Razi, Modares Journal of Medical Sciences. His research experiences are among being a Supervisor of 12 national research projects, a Supervisor of M.S. and Ph.D. theses, pubilshing 150 articles in Persian and English, and presenting in congress more than 200 articles.
