Alberto Signore

Alberto Signore received his university degree in medicine and surgery (full marks cum laude), University of Rome “La Sapienza,” Italy, in 1984, and he then obtained his Ph.D. degree at the University of Groningen, Groningen, The Netherlands, in 2007. He is an Honorary Full Professor in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging, University Medical Center, Groningen, The Netherlands, and President of the international scientific association, Nuclear Medicine Discovery. His research interests include development of new techniques for noninvasive in vivo diagnosis of lymphocytic infiltrates in the pathological course of immune‐mediated diseases and studying the in vivo kinetics of radiolabeled hormones and lipoproteins radiolabeled with particular regard to their applications for the diagnosis of dyslipidemia and atherosclerotic plaques.
