Dr. Raghid Kreidy is practicing Vascular Surgery and Medicine since 1991 at Saint George Hospital, University Medical Center in Beirut, Lebanon. He is currently appointed Associate Professor of Surgery at Balamand University in Beirut, Lebanon. He has obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1983 from the French State and he had his surgical training in Toulouse University Hospital, France. Dr. Kreidy conducted multiple clinical studies in many areas of Vascular Surgery and Medicine. He was invited to present the results of these studies in more than forty Regional and International Congresses. On 2008, one of his studies was awarded the best oral communication presented during the XXII World Congress of the International Union of Angiology. Dr. Kreidy has published extensively in the area of venous thrombosis. His main research interests are acquired and genetic risk factors for venous thrombosis, pathophysiology and diagnosis of venous thrombosis and post-thrombotic syndrome and therapeutic modalities of venous thrombosis and venous ulcers. He is particularly involved in clinical research related to hypercoagulation state and thrombophilia.
