Pantelis A. Damianou

Pantelis A. Damianou obtained a B.S. degree from University of New Hampshire, Durham, USA, an M.S. degree from UCLA, Los Angeles, USA, and a Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA, in 1989. He worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics at the University of Arizona and then joined the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Cyprus, Cyprus, in 1992. He serves now as a Professor of mathematics at the University of Cyprus, Cyprus. His research interests are in the areas of integrable systems, Poisson geometry, Lie algebras, and number theory. He held visiting positions at the University of Arizona and the University of Poitiers, Poitiers, France. Damianou is a Member of the editorial boards of Regular and Chaotic Dynamics, the Bulletin of the Greek Mathematical Society, Alexandria Engineering Journal, Advances in Pure Mathematics, and ISRN Algebra.
