Dharam Vir Ahluwalia
D. V. Ahluwalia received his Ph.D. degree from Texas A&M University, Tex, United States in 1991 and then accepted a postdoctoral position at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), NM, USA. In 1998, he left LANL and accepted a professorship at Universidad Autonoma de Zacateacs, Zacatecas, Mexico. In 2006, he moved to the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand as a Senior Lecturer. His research interests span neutrino oscillations, Elko dark matter, new constructs in quantum field theory, and the interface of the gravitational and quantum realms. For his work on gravitationally-induced phases, jointly with Christoph Burgard, he was awarded the 1996 first prize by the Gravity Research Foundation.
