Peter Fu holds a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Chemistry, University of Illinois at Chicago, Ill, USA, 1973, and an M.S. degree from the Department of Chemistry, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, Ill, USA, 1969. He serves as Senior Biomedical Research Scientist, Division of Biochemical Toxicology, National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), Jefferson, Ark, USA; Adjunct Professor, Department of Interdisciplinary Toxicology, College of Medicine, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, Ark, USA; and Adjunct Professor, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Jackson State University, Jackson, Miss, USA. Fu is an Editorial Board Member of Toxicology and Industry Health, the Open Drug Metabolism Journal, and Frontiers in Ethnopharmacology. His research interests include chemical carcinogenesis of pyrrolizidine alkaloids and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, DNA adducts and biomarkers, herbal dietary supplements, and nanotoxicology. He has published 407 peered-review papers and book chapters.
