Diana Ram serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of the Hadassah School of Dental Medicine at the Hebrew University. She was born in Uruguay and completed her dental studies at the Universidad de la Republica, Montevideo, Uruguay in 1982. In 1994, she completed her specialization in pediatric dentistry at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of the Hadassah School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem and since then she is a Member of the staff of the department. She has her private practice in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. She is the Director of the postgraduate program in pediatric dentistry at the Hadassah School of Dental Medicine, the Coordinator of the undergraduate course in pediatric dentistry, and a Member of the National Examining Committee for Specializing in Pediatric Dentistry, the Scientific Council-Israeli Dental Association. Her research is focused on local anesthesia sedation and behavior management in pediatric dentistry. She was the Chairperson of the Israeli Society of Dentistry for Children and the Chairperson of the Israeli branch of PANDA (Prevent Abuse and Neglect through Dental Awareness).
