Saadah Abdul Rahman

Saadah Abdul Rahman was born in a small town,Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia, in 1956. She received the B.Sc. and M. Sc. degrees in Physics from Indiana University, Bloomington Campus, USA, in 1979 and 1981 respectively, and Ph.D. degree in Physics from University of Malaya, in 1996. In 1981, she joined the Department of Physics, University of Malaya, as a Lecturer. Since December 1981, she has been with the Department of Physics, University of Malaya, where she was a lecturer, became an Associate Professor in 1990, and a Professor in 2006. Currently, she is a Contract Professor in the Department of Physics after her retirement in 2016. Her current research interests include Growth, Characterizations and Applications of Semiconductor Thin Films, Nanostructures and Nanocomposites. Dr. Saadah Abdul Rahman is a Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Physics (IFM) and the Malaysian Assoociation of Solid State of Science and Technology Society (MASS).
