Maria G. Knyazeva, holder of Ph.D. degree, is Privat-docent and a Leader of the research group “Connectivity Factors in Neurodegenerative Diseases” in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, CHUV, Lausanne, Switzerland. Dr. Knyazeva has over 20 years of experience in developmental neurophysiology and about 10 years in neurophysiology of aging and neurodegenerative disease. She is the author of more than 50 scientific publications including peer-reviewed and conference papers and book chapters. Her research is focused on structural, functional, and effective aspects of cerebral connectivity across human lifespan and in Alzheimer’s disease. It is based on multimodal approaches combining MRI-based and high-density EEG methods.
