N. D. Espinosa-Torres

N. D. Espinosa-Torres is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Renewable Energies at UNAM, Campus Temixco, Temixco, MOR, Mexico. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Researching Center for Semiconductors Devices (IC-CIDS) in the Science Institute of the Autonomous University of Puebla, Mexico, and Level I of SNI. He had worked on a theoretical study of the luminescent phenomena in silicon and silicon rich oxide. His researching interests include modeling using molecular mechanics, semiempirical methods, Hartree-Fock and density functional theory, and material science including methods for deposition and characterization techniques of semiconductors and superconductors. He also has explored other topics including phthalocyanines, graphene, ZnO, MoS₂, carbon nanotubes, and polyoxometalates.
