Daniele Menniti

Daniele Menniti holds a Ph.D. degree and works as a Professor of electrical power systems at the University of Calabria, Rende, Italy, and Supervisor for the Unit of Research of the University Group of Electrical Systems for Energy (GUSEE) in the same university. He conducts research in the fields of electric power systems; distributed generation; renewable energy sources; smart, micro, and nanogrids; storage systems; power electronics; and power quality. He is a Member of the Council of EnSiEl (National Inter-University Consortium for Energy and Electric Systems) since 2007 and its Executive Committee since 2012. He is Scientific Director of the PON project Power Cloud: Technologies and Algorithms in the Current Electricity Market Regulatory Framework Towards a New Business for Consumers and Small Power Producers from Renewable Sources. He was Scientific Director of the PON project Building Automation Systems for the Brokerage Service Energy Cooperative. He is a Technical Consultant on behalf of Italian Authority AEEGSI, for the evaluation of the RdS, since 2011. He is a Member of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Consortium CRETA (Regional Consortium for Energy and Environmental Protection) since 2005 and Chairman and CEO of the spin-off academic CRETA Energie Speciali Srl since 2007.
