Daniele Menniti

Daniele Menniti, was born in Susa (Torino) in 1958. He received his degree in Engineering of Industrial Technology from University of Calabria, Cosenza, Italy, in 1984 and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Naples Federico II, Italy, in 1988. Since 1988 to 1996 he had been Assistant Professor first at University Federico II of Naples and later at the University of Calabria. His research interests concern renewable energy, distributed generation and smart grids, power electronic, harmonic pollution, analysis, management, real-time control and automation of electric power systems. e is currently a Professor of Electrical Energy Systems at the Faculty of Engineering of University of Calabria and he is head of the "Research Unit of the Electrical Energy Systems" at the Electronic, Computer and Systems Science Department.
