Heather Gordish-Dressman achieved her B.S. degree from the University of Pittsburgh (1995), her M.S. degree in applied biostatistics and epidemiology from the University of Southern California (1998), and her Ph.D. degree in molecular epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh (2002). Gordish-Dressman serves as an Assistant Professor for integrative systems, biology/pediatrics, George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Her areas of interest include biostatistics, genetic epidemiology, SNP association studies, genetic variation in muscle and bone, metabolic syndrome/obesity, and preclinical drug testing in muscular dystrophy.
