Timothy A. Pritts graduated from School of Medicine, Illinois Wesleyan University, Northwestern University Feinberg, and the University of Cincinnati. Pritts received the M.D. degree and Ph.D. degree in physiology. He was trained at the University of Cincinnati for general surgery and surgical critical care. Pritts is an Associate Professor, General Surgeon, Trauma Surgeon, and Surgical Intensivist at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH, USA. He is the author of more than 80 academic papers, book chapters, and reviews. Pritts’ research is focused on improving care for injured and critically ill patients. His research projects have been funded by the National Institutes of Health, United States Air Force, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract.
