Jetse C. Reijenga
Jetse C. Reijenga is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at Eindhoven University of technology, The Netherlands. He was born in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 1951. Having worked on complex formation and selectivity in electrophoresis, he received his M.S. degree in 1978. After a spell in the field of HPLC, he started a Ph.D. project and received his doctorate in 1984 in Eindhoven, on the subject of detection and signal evaluation in capillary electrophoresis. Since 1980, he has published more than 80 research papers and numerous book chapters in the field of analytical separation techniques, especially capillary electrophoresis, and chromatography, with an emphasis on fundamentals, detection and signal processing, and more recently, indirect temperature effects. After being nominated Associate Professor in the area of methodology of teaching experimental chemistry in the early 1990s, his publication efforts have also included the development and use of simulation and training software for analytical separation techniques (ITP, CE, MEKC, HPLC, GC, and GPC).
