Raffaele Bruno

Raffaele Bruno obtained his M.S. degree in telecommunications engineering and his Ph.D. degree in information engineering from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 1999 and 2003, respectively. Since 2003, he has been a Researcher at the Institute of Informatics and Telematics (IIT) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR), Pisa, Italy, where he currently leads the research group on ubiquitous internet. His current research interests are in the areas of wireless networks, vehicular networking, cyber‐ physical systems, and communication technologies for smart grids, and he published more than 60 research papers on those topics. He served and is currently serving on the TPC of several international conferences and workshops. He was a Workshop Cochair of IEEE PerSeNS 2006, IEEE MASS‐GHS 2007, and IEEE HoMESH 2009, 2010, and 20011. He was a Program Cochair of ACM Q2SWinet 2012 Symposium. He is currently a Program Cochair of IFIP/IEEE SUSTAINIT 2013 Conference. He has been a Guest Editor of special issues of Elsevier Pervasive and Mobile Computing Journal and Elsevier Computer Communication Journal, and he is currently a Member of the Editorial Board of Elsevier Computer Communication Journal and The Scientific World Journal.
