Roberto Quesada

Roberto Quesada received his Ph.D. degree in chemistry in 2002 from the University of Oviedo, Asturias, Spain, under the guidance of Professor Javier Ruiz and Professor Víctor Riera. In 2003, he carried out postdoctoral research at the Trinity College Dublin with Professor Sylvia M. Draper, and in 2004, he joined Professor Philip A. GaleĀ“s group at University of Southampton as a Postdoctoral Scholar. In 2006, he was awarded with a Juan de la Cierva contract in the group of Professor Pilar Prados at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and in 2008, he moved to the University of Burgos as Ramon y Cajal Fellow, being promoted to an Associate Professor in 2013. His research interests include synthetic chemistry and supramolecular chemistry in lipid bilayer membranes.
