Giovanni Pau is a Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Kore University of Enna, Enna, Italy. Professor Pau received his B.S. degree in telematic engineering from the University of Catania, Catania, Italy, and both his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees (cum laude) in telematic engineering from Kore University of Enna, Italy. Professor Pau is the author/coauthor of more than 35 refereed articles published in journals and conference proceedings. He is an Associate Member of the IEEE (Italy Section) and has been involved in the organization of several international conferences as Session Cochair and Technical Program Committee Member. Professor Pau serves/served as a Leading Guest Editor in special issues of several international journals and is an Editorial Board Member as Associate Editor of the Journal of Network and Computer Applications (Elsevier), Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing (Hindawi), and Human-Centric Computing and Information Sciences (Springer). His research interests include wireless sensor networks, home automation, fuzzy logic, Internet of Things, and real-time systems.
