Raj Senani received his B.S. degree from Lucknow University, Lucknow, India; B.S.E. degree from HBTI, Kanpur, India; M.E. degree (with honors) from MNNIT, Allahabad, India; and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from University of Allahabad, Allahabad, India. Dr. Senani became a Professor of electronics and communication engineering at Delhi Institute of Technology, now known as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), New Delhi, India, in 1990, and has held the positions of Head and Dean of various departments, as well as Institute Director, a number of times since then. He last functioned as the Director of NSIT between October 2008 and December 2014. Professor Senani's areas of research interest are analog integrated circuits and signal processing and he has authored/coauthored over 150 papers in reputed International Journals, 4 book chapters, and 3 books (research monograph) published by Springer, USA, between 2013 and 2016. He is serving as an Editorial Reviewer for over 30 international journals and is currently the Editor-in-Chief for IETE Journal of Education and Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Research (JEEER) and an Associate Editor for Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing (USA), apart from being on the Editorial Boards of 6 other international journals. Professor Senani is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Life Fellow of IETE and was elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), in 2008, for his contributions to analog integrated circuits and signal processing and analog VLSI circuits. He is the recipient of the Second Laureate of the 25th Khwarizmi International Award for the year 2012 for excellence and dedication in research. His biography is included in several publications and numerous editions of Marquis Who's Who (USA), International Biographical Centre (Cambridge), and American Biographical Institute (USA).
