Shui Shan Lee

Shui Shan Lee received the M.B.B.S., M.D., F.H.K.A.M., F.H.K.C.P., F.H.K.C.C.M., F.R.C.P.A., F.R.C.P., and F.F.P.H. degrees. He is a Clinician and Specialist in internal medicine, immunopathology, and public health. He currently works as a Professor of infectious diseases at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Sha Tin, Hong Kong. Between 1991 and 2005, Dr. Lee was the head of the Hong Kong Government’s AIDS Program, where he directed the HIV prevention, control, and treatment services. He has also served as a Consultant to national and international organizations in the assessment of HIV situations, program planning, and evaluations. His major areas of research interest include optimization of HIV treatment, HIV/AIDS epidemiology, and social and spatial contexts of infectious disease transmission.
