Charalambos A. Charalambous

Charalambos A. Charalambous was born in Nicosia, Cyprus, in 1979. He received a Class I B.E. degree (honors) in electrical and electronic engineering in 2002 and a Ph.D. degree in electrical power engineering in 2005 from the University of Manchester (UMIST), Manchester, UK. Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cyprus, Nicosia, Cyprus. Charalambous was formerly with the National Grid High Voltage Research Center at the University of Manchester, UK. His research interests include transformer finite element modeling, ferroresonance transient studies, the electrical control and analysis of DC corrosion, and the dynamic life cycle evaluations of power system operation and cost.
