Patrizia Pantano is Associate Professor of Neuroradiology, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. She had M.D. degree (1979) from Sapienza University of Rome. She also had full board certification in radiology and neurology from the same university (1984 and 1989, resp.). From 1980 to 1989, she had CNR research program in the field of nuclear medicine at the Department of Neurological Sciences, Sapienza University of Rome. In 1982 to 1983, she had training research program on clinical applications of positron emission tomography in Orsay (France) at the Service Hospitalier Frédéric Joliot, Commisariat a L’Energie Atomique. From 1990 to 2000, she was Researcher in the field of nuclear medicine, then, from 2001 to 2006, an Assistant Professor of neuroradiology, and, from 2006 till present, an Associate Professor of neuroradiology at the Department of Neurology and Psychiatry, Sapienza University of Rome. From 2012 till present, she has been a Member of the Academic Committee of the Doctorate in Behavioral Neuroscience, Sapienza University of Rome. She is also a Member of the NeuroImaging Panel of the European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS) and the Functional Radiology Panel of the Italian Association of Neuroradiology (AINR). She is the Reviewer of several international journals (Brain, AJNR, Multiple Sclerosis, Journal of the Neurological Sciences, Clinical Neurophysiology, etc.).
