Carla Ripamonti specializes in oncology and clinical pharmacology. Since 2009, she serves as the Head of the Supportive Care in Cancer Unit of the IRCCS Foundation National Cancer Institute of Milano, Italy. She worked as an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Oncology, Division of Palliative Care Medicine, University of Alberta, Canada. Her special areas of interest include cancer pain, opioid rotation, drugs used in managing inoperable bowel obstruction, dyspnea, and bone pain, bisphosphonates in the elderly, osteonecrosis bisphosphonate-related, spirituality, dignity, and hope in patients on active oncological treatments, and supportive care.
