Mohammad Muneer

Mohammad Muneer obtained his degree and postgraduate degree in chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, Uttar Pradesh, India, and Doctorate in chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. He worked for ten years as a scientist in the Photochemistry Research Unit at Regional Research Laboratory (CSIR), Trivandrum, India. Later he joined as reader in the Department of Chemistry, AMU, Aligarh. Currently he is working as Professor in the same department. His research areas include photocatalysis, nanomaterials, doped semiconducting materials, homogeneous and heterogeneous electron transfer, organic photochemistry, and organic synthetic chemistry. He has published more than 150 research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals such as JACS, JOC, RSc, and tetrahedron letters. Professor Muneer is recipient of Alexander Von Humboldt Fellowship and Marie Curie Incoming International Fellowship. He is a Lifelong Member of the Chemical Research Society of India, Bangalore, and the Indian Chemical Society, Kolkata, India.
