Wenbin Dou

Wenbin Dou graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 1978. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 1983 and 1987, in both electronics and communications. From 1987 to 1989, he worked at Southeast University, Jiangsu, China, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Since 1989, he has been working at the Department of Radio Engineering, Southeast University. In 1994, he was promoted to Professor. Also, he serves as a Vice Director of the State Key Laboratory of Millimeter Waves. His research interests include quasioptics and binary optics, antennas for different sensors, millimeter wave and submillimeter wave focal imaging, and ferrite devices. He had completed many projects on millimeter waves from the State Ministry and Foundation and now is in charge of some key projects. He has published over 100 technique papers in journals. His two books on millimeter wave ferrite devices and quasioptical techniques have been published in 1996 and 2000, respectively, and the book on millimeter wave quasioptics was republished in 2006 after some revision and supplements. He received many awards from the State Ministry and Foundation and Southeast University. He was a Member of the State Ministry Expert Committee. He is an Invited Reviewer for the journals in physics, optics, microwaves, and millimeter waves in China and other countries. He is a Member of Academic Committee of SKL of MMW and the Key Laboratory of Millimeter Wave Remote Sensing. He is a Senior Member of CIE, Member of Microwave Institute of CIE, and Senior Member of IEEE. He is a Cochairman of Program Committee of IRMMW-THz 2006 and Member of the International Advisory Committee of IRMMW-THz 2009.
