Dong Qiu obtained his Ph.D. degree (2009) from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China. He is a Reviewer for Mathematical Reviews and he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Mathematics and Informatics and an Editor of the Journal of Fuzzy Set Valued Analysis and the Journal of Chemistry. Qiu acts as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Applied Mathematics of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing, China. His area of expertise includes set-valued analysis, nonadditive measure theory, approximate reasoning, rough sets, fuzzy sets, and automata theory. His research grants and contract research position focus on differential theory of fuzzy-valued functions based on t-norms and t-conorms (Natural Science Foundation of China); relations among error management climate, knowledge transformation, and innovative behavior (the National Social Science Fund of China); fuzzy differential theory (Mathematical Tianyuan Foundation of China); closed fuzzy matroids (Chongqing Municipal Education Commission); and decision making and its application (Chongqing Municipal Education Commission).
