Jun Han

Jun Han is an Associate Professor at the College of Mining, Liaoning Technical University, China, since 2005. He got a B.S. degree in geology engineering in 2002, an M.S. degree in mining engineering in 2005, and a Ph.D. degree in mining engineering in 2008, from Liaoning Technical University. His doctoral thesis was awarded the Outstanding Thesis Award at 2008, Liaoning Technical University. He is a Member of International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM), Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering (CSRME), and China Coal Society (CCS). His primary research interest concerns coal and gas outburst, tectonic stress field, and coal mining. The main contents are the relation between geological structure and coal and gas outburst and its mechanism, the relation between geological structure and in situ stress field, the dynamic hazard (coal and gas outburst, rockburst and mining seism). He has published about 40 scientific papers in journals or conference proceedings and two books.
