Hamadi Attia is Professor of food science and technology at the University of Sfax, Sfax, Tunisia. He is the Head of the Laboratory of Valorisation, Analyses and Food Safety (LAVASA) of the National School of Engineer of Sfax-Tunisia (ENIS) and the President of Mediterranean Association of Food Industries. He received his Engineer Diploma in biology engineering from Clermont-Ferrand II University (1983), his Ph.D. degree in food science from Montpellier II University (1987), and his Authority degree for the Research Direction (HDR) from ENIS (1997). In addition to his duties as a professor and a researcher, he has several collaborations and he provides technical assistance actions and trainings for food industries. Dr. ATTIA is one of the leading experts in food science and technology.
